Minimum setup
A reader, an inventory scanner and your JAMS tags — that is the complete hardware setup. Pick the model of each that fits your store.
Writers are optional. They are only needed for advanced setups that encode their own tags or build custom software. A normal store on any JAMS plan does everything with a reader.
