Overview

The GEM Reader JR1 is a compact UHF RFID reader designed for direct connection to compatible devices used with the JAMS Jewelry Asset Management System.

Its small form factor allows the reader to connect directly to a compatible device without requiring a separate desktop reader, external power supply or complex installation.

The JR1 is designed for short-range RFID reading, making it particularly suitable for jewellery counters and individual product operations. Staff can simply bring a tagged jewellery item close to the reader to identify the product within JAMS.

The intentionally limited reading range helps provide controlled item identification while reducing unwanted detection of other RFID-tagged jewellery nearby.

Its compact and lightweight design makes the JR1 particularly useful for mobile and counter-based JAMS installations.
