Overview
The GEM Handheld Scanner JS5 is a professional portable UHF RFID scanner designed for jewellery inventory management with the JAMS Jewelry Asset Management System.
Its ergonomic handheld design allows staff to move freely through showcases, sales areas and stockrooms while rapidly scanning JAMSY-tagged jewellery.
The JS5 connects wirelessly through Bluetooth to compatible devices, allowing scanned RFID information to be transferred to JAMS without requiring a physical connection during normal operation.
Unlike basic RFID readers, the JS5 also includes an integrated display and onboard storage capable of retaining large numbers of scanned tag records. This makes it particularly useful for mobile stocktakes and inventory operations.
A large rechargeable battery supports extended scanning sessions, while visual and audible indicators provide immediate feedback during operation.
